“Some background for you… when my daughter was around two years old she started suffering from what was later determined as psoriasis. Her flare-ups were small in nature, but intense. She would be so uncomfortable, and would itch them until they bled, which in turn with her sensitive skin turned into an infection. The doctors had us trying several topical antibiotics, but nothing would really cut through it. It might calm down for a few days, then flare right back up.  Oddly enough summer months were worse than winter for her. She had spots on her belly button, under both armpits, behind both ears and the top of her head. The top of her head was probably the worst and within the first year of struggling with psoriasis she had lost pretty much all the hair on the top of her head and was left with the scaly itchy skin.
